Facebook in the NY Times

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/11/technology/11facebook.html?em&ex=1202965200&en=af051250dc51b51b&ei=5087%0A

you can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave

Could it be true that The Eagles were really making a premonition about Facebook.com in their legendary lyrics to "Hotel California?" According to the NY Times, it is almost impossible to cancel your Facebook membership, due to the fact that the site keeps alleged "indefinite" records of all accounts. Apparently the main problem with all this is that people can still contact you via e-mail through your "de-activated" Facebook account. Frightening. If only I read the fine print when I signed up. At least now I know never to try and delete my account, as I will be eternally haunted by wall postings past. Damn.....it makes you wonder where else you can be "stalked" via old internet activity.

orange-glo

Ahhhh orange-glo, the magical household cleaner, analogous to crack (haha), and only available at your local stop and shop; but enough about that, however it was my first thought when i saw these amazing new color combos at banana republic, that and of course my grandparents living room drapes from the 1970's. But i admit it, i love orange and brown together, particularly in patterns. visit your local banana republic to get your fix, i know post-payday i will be.

deals and steals, fash style

apparently the new spring trends are ultra-fem (aka ruffles abound), bright bold colors, and airy spring scarves.....where to obtain these items???? You could hit up our local anthropolgie for some serious credit card damage, or you could safely order online from forever21. only your drycleaner will know the truth.

this has to stop

I have a "rant" so to speak and it's about young women who dress like hookers. Living in Philly I come to see this everyday. I am all about self-expression through appearence, but I mean come on? What is wrong with these women with the low-cut tops and the tight-ass pants with the eternal supply of way too high high-heels. you all know them, because they're everywhere. i believe that they encourage men to objectify us and it just pisses me off. grrrrrrr. Also they seem to hang out in groups? I mean what gives? Put some clothes on....
